Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to see Alexander’s work, whatever device or assistive technology you use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we build accessibility into the site from the start.
What we have done
The Site is built to support, among other things:
- navigation by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator;
- a “skip to content” link for screen-reader and keyboard users;
- a reduced-motion setting that turns off the site’s animations and smooth scrolling, and we also honor your device’s own “reduce motion” preference automatically;
- descriptive text for images that carry meaning;
- readable contrast and text that scales with your browser settings.
A work in progress
Accessibility is never finished. Parts of the Site use rich three-dimensional views and motion to present the carvings, and we keep working to improve how these behave with assistive technology and on a wide range of devices.
Tell us if something does not work
If you have any trouble using the Site, or you would like information from it in another form, please email alexander@grabovetskiy.com or reach us through our contact page. Tell us the page and what gave you trouble, and we will help and work to put it right as quickly as we can.
